As parents who travel regularly with our child, we wanted to create a website where people can come together to share their experiences and opinions through the eyes of parents with children. Although travel agents and guide books are helpful in giving you choices of activities and sites at each destination, they do not give you the valuable information that a family would need when traveling with children. For example, in our research of Prague, no where was it written that the streets and sidewalks were all cobblestone. Although it made for beautiful scenery, having an umbrella stroller may not have been the best choice had we known this in advance. Our poor daughters bum was probably pretty sore. Nor do travel agents tell you that the beautiful island beach resort is on a particular side of the island that can have rough waters. The beach may be too dangerous for your little ones to play in the ocean or on the beach.

 Today ChildTravelTips.com unveiled the first of five destination profiles in its new Destinations section of its website. The first five destinations unveiled today were; Atlanta, Georgia, Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Miami, Florida, Chicago, Illinois, and Puerto Rico. ChildTravelTips.com will continue to release additional destination profiles in the future to help our members with their vacation planning.

Munich and the Swiss Alps are the first two destinations outside the United States that Childtraveltips.com has profiled.
